As I reflect upon my lingering feeling about our recent fourth of July American Independence holiday, I think of Soul Purpose and Spiritual Independence as well as the historical journey of our great nation resulting in the America’s Independence.
Summer is such a perfect season to review, reflect, reinvent, and restore both ourselves and our dearest visions of an ideal life. It is a marvelous window of timing to reactivate our deepest passions so that we may create a life of meaning and Purpose. As we seize the opportunities of these Summer energies, let’s explore how we might enhance our awareness so that our personal Spiritual Independence may weaves more fluidly throughout all the nooks and crannies of our life .
Here is a good place to begin such an exploration: Where do we feel free and freedom in our personal and professional lives and where do we feel imprisoned, trapped, shackled, and bogged down?
Here are some questions to contemplate as we step back and review our own level of freedom of independence at the top of our Summer months.

What still hurts in your life?
How would greater freedom feel?

What are those areas of your life and in your business where you want to experience greater freedom?
What would Spiritual Independence feel like particularly while speaking with your potential clients and customers?
What are those haunting, obsolete, and ineffective circumstances, behaviors, or systems in your business and personal lives where you have been banging your head crying out for freedom from the discomfort?
Spiritual Independence, from my perspective, includes freedom from uncomfortable emotions, thoughts, self identity, and behaviors that act as obsolete baggage. We are living in dynamic and transformational times where self redefinition is pushing against our comfort zones.
As business owners, one of the arenas where freedom or imprisonment reveal themselves is in the realm of speaking with potential clients and customers who may hire or purchase our products and services. If we feel discomfort during those types of conversations, a call can be heard from deep within for greater Spiritual Independence and deeper understanding of how to harness the power of our Soul Purpose.
Here are tips to consider when you are engaged in potential customer/client conversations. I have found for myself and my clients, that these points can guide someone from feeling shut down and bound up to feeling freed up and launched into a stream of Spiritual Independence and Soul Purpose freedom as we dance amongst the words, excitement, fear, hope, self doubt, or self confidence in such types of conversations.
1. Our internal spiritual Source will provide our thriving and well being not an external individual.
2. Our life is meticulously designed to teach and preen us to bring forth powerful gifts into our respective worlds.
3. Our vigil is to remember that we are a gift just as we are.
4. Our tool kit to thrive and soar includes the inner wisdom of our Intuition. What does your Intuition tell you during these conversations?
5. If this particular customer or client is not a fit for who YOU are today and what YOU have to offer today, then let them go. The aligned clients and customers will appear in your life at just the right time in just the right ways of Divine Timing.
6. The more you trust that you are loved and taken care of by the Universe versus by any particular people or person, the more you can put your attention on healing any behaviors, beliefs, self image, traumas, and misinformation about yourself. Allowing yourself to participate in a practice of self healing and self development gives you more energetic resonance to connect with the Universe and our Spiritual dimensions.
7. Discovering and reminding yourself of our Soul Purpose expression through your business expression opens a gate that leads you to greater inner peace, confidence, creativity, and fulfilling our passions.
8. A potential client or customer will clearly let you know through their “Yes” or “No” to your services and products whether or not they are on YOUR Soul Purpose path.
9. There is no failure or mistakes. The discomfort of receiving a “No” to your business offerings can lead to deeper access to the places that are ready to be healed within you.
10. When you receive a “Yes” from a potential client or customer to your business offerings, a path has been revealed for you to study and reinforce your gifts, talents, skills, and the ways in which you are meant to contribute to your business world.
May today and this Summer bring you greater harmony, excitement, and confidence about your Soul Purpose Brilliance.
May every “No” that you may hear from a potential client or customer resound inside of you as your cue to embrace deeper aspects of yourself with compassion and curiosity.
May every “Yes” that you hear from a potential client or customer resound inside of you as cause for outrageous celebration that you are honoring your Soul Purpose and compounding your Spiritual Independence to be your Authentic Self.
The earthquake disaster in Haiti and Chile can be seen as a mirror of the great internal transformations that many people are experiencing in their life in the form of challenges, awakening, and intensification of the longing to manifest one’s dreams.

The turning of a new year is a big deal for me! This new year is particularly compelling for me because I sense powerful under current forces for greater personal awakening and healing.
That Portal Of Possibility earlier mentioned is a very real presence for me.
I can feel it, see it, and hear it deep within myself.
As an Entrepreneur, I especially recognize this Portal as both a catalyst and an invitation. We have to choose: will we allow ourselves to get caught up in the mayhem and fear? Or, will we summon forth greater clarity, courage, and commitment to claim more sustainable life meaning, fulfillment, and success?
The new business paradigm is here as much as is the requirement that we reevaluate how we are living our lives. Moving at your own pace, I invite you to join me in taking these steps so that we may consciously exit 2009 and elegantly enter this extraordinary new year.
I like to make this a sacred process for myself with candles, music, incense, and my favorite food or beverage. I hold this as a reflection that nurtures my self love and reinforces that my day to day quality of life is important and necessary for myself as well as those whose lives I touch.
YEAR END PROCESS – PERSONAL AND PROFESSIONAL REFLECTION
Identify:
1. My greatest accomplishments for 2009.
2. The values that these accomplishments honored.
3. The ways in which my Soul Purpose expressed through these accomplishments.
4. How I projected myself in terms of my mindset, attitudes, behaviors, and disposition that supported achieving my accomplishments.
3. The intentions that I did NOT fulfill in 2009.
4. Those variables that prevented me from fulfilling my intentions.
5. Whatever I could have done differently that would have better supported accomplishing my intentions.
6. Who I would have needed to be in terms of my mindset, attitudes, behaviors, and disposition that would have better supported my intentions.
7. My most important goals for 2010. I will focus on key areas of my life:
finances, relationships, health, business projects, personal projects, time management, spiritual experiences, and life balance.
8. The wisdom that I have gained throughout 2009 that I will apply in pursuing my new goals.
9. What am I committed to leaving behind in 2009 in the form of relationships, habits, beliefs, default mindsets, action plans, and behaviors.
10. What I will add and integrate into my life for 2010 in the form of relationships, habits, beliefs, new mindset programming, action plans, and behaviors.
After I walk myself through these steps, I will…
1. Get photos, graphics, pictures that depict the goals I want to manifest.
2. Create an album or a treasure map/vision board type of visual collection.
3. Look at this visual collection at least once a day.
4. Fantasize about who I am becoming as I pursue these goals, the kind of personality that I am developing and expressing in my world. I will visualize myself at the end of the new year, at the close of 2010, ALREADY HAVING ACHIEVED these goals and intentions. I will make this visualization as real as possible: Clear internal pictures, internal dialogue, emotions, physical sensations, smells, and tastes.
5. Create an audio tape of me describing to myself HOW MY LIFE IS NOW THAT I HAVE ACHIEVED THESE GOALS. I will listen to that tape at night as I fall asleep to program my subconscious mind and build my desired mindsets.
I wish you profound confidence, dauntless determination, and passion filled Purpose as you more deeply embrace the life you were born to live!
